What is IBAN account number?

International bank account number (IBAN) is new international standard account format which serve to European Union standards. 

An IBAN consists of 21 symbols – first 2 symbols mean country code, the following 2 numbers are automatically calculated by your bank, then follows the bank’s identity code and afterwards comes customer’s account number in front of which there are zeros so that in total there are 13 numbers.
